THE VISION.

Established in 2022, Barra Designs is fueled by a vision to revolutionize the HVAC industry. This vision originated during working within my father's HVAC business, where we observed numerous clients expressing dissatisfaction after investing thousands in new HVAC equipment installed by other contractors, only to find that the systems couldn't adequately regulate indoor conditions.

HEAT / COOLING LOAD

A Manual J calculation is a critical part of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) design process. It is a detailed load calculation that determines the heating and cooling requirements of a building or space.

MANUAL D
DUCT SIZING / LAYOUT

Often used in conjunction with Manual J and Manual S calculations.  Manual D focuses on the design and sizing of the ductwork system that distributes conditioned air throughout the building.

A report developed by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) to assist builders, architects, and designers in ensuring that their projects adhere to the energy efficiency requirements mandated by local building codes, which are often based on the IECC.
